It is with great pleasure that I welcome staff, students and parents/carers to Term 3 as the Principal of Erskine Park High School. I look forward to working with the dynamic school community that is focused on taking pride in achievement; a community that consistently models the CLUES expectations of Consideration for others, Learning as our focus, Understanding and respect, Care for the environment and Safety for all.
Every term in schools has it's own ebb and flow - during Term 3 we recognise the hard work of staff who are supporting the Yr 12 students in the preparation towards both Trial exams and the HSC; it was fabulous to see so many during the holidays for additional teaching and learning sessions and work on major projects. It was a pleasure to speak with students who represented us this week at the Naidoc Celebrations and to learn about the 'Learn to Lead' program and students who are supporting our partner primary schools at their athletics carnival. Next week we will welcome the Chinese Study tour group to our school and celebrate our STEPS community at the concert on Thursday night. I look forward to meeting the P&C on Monday evening and then seeing lots of our community at the subject selection events that are being held on Tuesday night.
I would like to extend an open invitation to everyone to come and say 'hello' and to let me know about where you fit in the community that forms Erskine Park High School. I really look forward to leading the school into the future and know that the collaboration amongst all layers of our community will continue to nurture a public school that we are all proud of and that continues to meet the needs of students in the local community.
